As a child, my mom would tell me that she wanted me to be more successful than her. So, I entered the corporate world two decades ago and climbed the corporate ladder, earning progressively more money and better titles. On paper, I was living out the "success" that I was destined for, but I wasn’t fulfilled – I wasn’t feeling successful.

I came to the realization that I had been climbing the wrong ladder. My spiritual needs were not being met, which to me, meant that it was time to redefine success for myself.
